consider it design is a contemporary, design-led studio founded and operated by Erla Stefánsdóttir and Lawrence Magennis. Guided by a passion for thoughtful design and timeless quality, the studio creates functional and decorative products, furniture, lighting, and accessories defined by a modern, minimalist, and Nordic-inspired aesthetic.

With a background in Interior Architecture, Erla brings expertise in spatial and homeware design, informed by years of experience across commercial and residential projects. Larry, a specialist in Furniture Design and Making, combines craftsmanship with a background in Product and Sustainable Design education, uniting technical skill with a deep understanding of design principles and ethics.

At consider it design, every piece is an exploration of how aesthetics, utility, and ethical design come together to enrich everyday life. The studio’s work reflects a commitment to craftsmanship, material integrity, and sustainability, producing objects that are not only beautiful but made to endure.
